ABOUT
Bali Culinary Professionals was previously known as Les Tocques Blanches Bali back in 1996. With the intention of broadening our membership base to include culinary professionals in Bali, it was decided that the club be named “Bali Culinary Professionals” in 1997. In 2007 the Bali Culinary Professionals became the Indonesian representative for the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) working closely and together with the Association of Culinary Professionals Jakarta (ACP), we now have access to numerous news, events and competitions throughout the world. One of BCP's flagship programs is the Bali Culinary Professionals Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to young Balinese chefs and hospitality students who wish to pursue culinary education and training. The scholarship program is designed to help talented individuals who might otherwise not have the opportunity to pursue a career in the culinary industry. BCP also hosts various events throughout the year, including the Bali Culinary Festival and the Bali Food & Wine Festival, which showcase the island's diverse culinary traditions and bring together local and international chefs and food industry professionals. In addition to its training and networking programs, BCP is also committed to promoting sustainability and social responsibility in the culinary industry. The organization encourages its members to source local, organic ingredients, reduce waste, and support local communities.
